Greenport School will celebrate Black History Month on Friday with a performance by nationally renown storyteller and teaching artist Queen Nur.
The event includes tales about African and African American oral traditions. Parents are encouraged to attend. The program for junior and senior high school students starts at 9:25 a.m. The elementary school assembly is at 1 p.m.
