Four Mattituck-Cutchogue School District students won physical education leadership awards on May 7 in Middle Island. The students were recognized for outstanding leadership, fitness, citizenship and excellence in physical education.
Winners included McKenzie Hoeg and Christopher Nicholson of Cutchogue East Elementary School and Mattituck-Cutchogue Junior-Senior High School students Larysa Andreadis and Jacob Kupecki.
The students’ teachers nominated them for demonstrating positive attitudes, behaviors and performances while also helping other students.
